Hair Restoration

Conveniently located to serve Orange County and Thousand Oaks

There’s no time for a man to recover his hair
that grows bald by nature.
– William Shakespeare

Things have changed dramatically since the time of the balding Bard, especially in recent years. It’s probably safe to say that Shakespeare would be astonished that his statement no longer rings true.

Male pattern baldness is an inherited trait called androgenetic alopecia, and affects up to 90% of all men. This trait leads cells in certain hair follicles to be receptive to hormone changes that cause the follicles to grow hair for a shorter time. For men, the typical pattern of loss starts at the hairline, advances to thinning on the top of the head, and often leaves a perimeter of hair across the back of the head.
