Chemical Peels

Light, superficial or medium-depth chemical peels rejuvenate the skin by dissolving the epidermal (outer) layer and triggering the production of collagen in the dermal (middle) layer. These rejuvenating peels help reduce wrinkles, pigmentation, and smooth rough, uneven skin. Your dermatologist will provide detailed pre and post-operative care instructions to ensure the best results.

Rosacea (Adult Acne)

Redness, flushing, and acne-like blemishes, especially in fair-skinned adults, may signal the start of rosacea. Rosacea is a chronic skin condition characterized by inflammation of the skin on the cheeks, chin, forehead, nose, or eyelids. Sometimes the irritation takes the form of spider-like blood vessels, redness and stinging, or acne like eruptions.

Although many people think of rosacea as something they just have to live with, there is no need to suffer with this very treatable condition. Our providers can help you to stop the irritation and restore your skin's appearance with new medications, topical treatments or laser therapy.

Aesthetician Services

At The Center for Dermatology Care, we offer a full range of aesthetician services that are both therapeutic and relaxing.

SilkPeel™ Microdermabrasion with Dermalinfusion™

We are proud to offer one of the latest innovations in microdermabrasion at our Thousand Oaks center. One of the most dynamic skin treatments available, SilkPeel microdermabrasion with Dermalinfusion not only exfoliates the skin, but also infuses a therapeutic solution specific to the patient's skin. The procedure allows vitamins, antioxidants, and other healing ingredients to be delivered deeply into the skin where they can be most effective. Ingredients are customized for the treatment of conditions such as acne, hyperpigmentation, and aging skin.

There are no abrasive elements used in this one hour treatment, which is painless and requires no downtime. If you are considering microdermabrasion in Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Camarillo, Oxnard, or any of the surrounding communities, ask us about this new treatment.

Facials

We offer facials for a variety of skin conditions, including acne, aging, dull or dry skin, hyperpigmentation, and concerns specific to the skin on your back. Our 45 or 60 minute facials are designed to cleanse, exfoliate, soothe and refresh your skin, and leave you relaxed and rejuvenated.

Superficial Peels

Our aestheticians offer lighter peels that require little to no downtime, as opposed to the stronger peels administered by our physicians. These peels are designed to stimulate cell turnover, deliver nutrients, and reveal more beautiful, radiant skin.

Waxing

This is a quick and affordable solution for the longer-lasting removal of unwanted hair on the brows, upper lip, chin, or sideburns. This is a good option for patients who do not want to undergo laser hair removal or for areas such as brows where lasers are not typically used.

Massage

Our massage therapists offer a range of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal and table-adapted Thai massage, in 30, 60 or 120 minute sessions.
